CIRCUITS FOR THE EAST AND SOUTHEAST
EIGHT DIFFERENT ROUTES
These eight routes enable us to contact the culture of different tribes and ethnic groups in eastern Ethiopia and admire the natural beauty of the Rift Valley with its beautiful lakes. Ziway Lake, Lake Abiyata, Lake Shala, Lake Langano, Lake Awassa, Lake Chamo and Lake Abaya, on whose shores is Nech Sar National Park. During the tour, visit important historical cities such as Harar, the fourth Muslim sacred city (together with Mecca, Medina and Jerusalem) and known for its walls, which were built in the fifteenth century by Harari (Adare Tribe) to be protected from the repeated invasions of other tribes around. We will go in the Danakil desert, the warmest part of the world, land of black mountains and salt formations, such as the Dallol, we move accompanied by the slow rhythm of the camel caravans loaded with salt. We may also know, churches, carved into the rock of Tigray.
BALE NATIONAL PARK.
It's a great high plateau with spectacular volcanic areas, alpine lakes, and small mountain streams. The park area is 2400 km2, with an altitude between 1500m-4377m above sea level. There are about 46 species of mammals and 200 species of birds at the park

NATIONAL PARK NECHISAR.
Located 510 kilometers south of Addis, near the town of Arba Minch, between the lakes Abaya and Chamo. A variety of wild animals roam freely between 514m2 savanna, dry forest and woodland of groundwater. Habitat for 188 species of birds, and Bushbuck, Swayne's Hartebeest, Burchell's zebra, Grant's Gazelle, Guenther Dik-dik, Greater Kudu, Crocodile, Anubis Baboon, Grey Duiker.

MAGO NATIONAL PARK
With an area of 2,162 km2 and located 770 km southwest of Addis Ababa, on the east bank of Omo River. The highest point is Mount Mago to 2528m. Mainly grass savannah, some forested areas around rivers. Conservation area of plains animals, 56 species of mammals: buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, antelopes Lelwel, lion, cheetah, leopard, zebra, gerenuk, oryx.

ABIJATTA SHALLA NATIONAL PARK
Located in the Great Rift Valley, 200 kilometers south of Addis Ababa and at recreational areas of Lake Langano. Has 887 km2, 482 are water. The altitude of the park is from 1540 to 2075 meters, the highest peak is Mount Fike, situated between two lakes. It was created by their waterfowl, which feed and reproduce in large numbers in the lakes, Abijatta, Shalla.

AWASH NATIONAL PARK
Located at the lowlands, 225 km east of Addis Ababa. It has an area of 827 km2, at an altitude of 900 meters. In the middle of the park is the dormant volcano of Fantale, with a height of 2007 m. Temperatures can reach until 42 degrees, the nights are cooler, with temperatures between 10 º and 22 º. Acacia woodland and grassland. Oryx, antelope, zebra, leopard, Baboon, Giant Tortoise, Colobus monkey, crocodile and hippopotamus, etc.

SEMIEN MOUNTAINS NATIONAL PARK
Declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The Semien Mountains is one of the major mountain massifs in Africa. Have peaks above 4000 m. and the highest point in Ethiopia is Ras Dejen, at 4,620 m. It is home to the endemic mammals of Walia Ibex, Semien Fox, Gelada Baboons and many species of birds and plants. Its beauty is spectacular.

OMO NATIONAL PARK
It is the greatest of all Ethiopia's national parks and more remote. Is the one with greater abundance of big animals and birds. The park occupies the south bank of the Omo River. The lower course of the Omo River, was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1980, after the discovery of the earliest known fossil fragments of Homo sapiens have been dated around 195,000 years old.

TIGRAY CHURCHES
In Tigray near Mekelle, there are also churches carved at the rock. Of not less than 120 churches found, three quarters, still in use as parish churches, or housing, monastic communities. Mekele is the main city of Tigray, the northernmost region of Ethiopia. The city is known for being a point where get together the caravans of camels, which bring salt from the arid lands of the Danakil Depression. This means that the market is an interesting place to visit.
