The visa is done in the Addis Ababa airport (cost $ 50), a passport valid for at least 6 months. View formalities necessary for other than Spanish nationality.
THE WEATHER
In northern Ethiopia the rainy season is from June to late August. In the south the rainy season is April and May. Due to climate change, the data provided may vary depending on the year.

TREKKING TO BALE NATIONAL PARK (10 DAYS 9 NIGHTS)
DAY 1:
Arrival at Addis Ababa and city tour. Night in hotel.
DAY 2:
Drive to the Mountains National Park Bale. Night in camp located nearby, the park headquarters in Dinsho.
DAY 3:
Start the Trekking from Dinsho (at 3000m) until Fench Abera (18km), camping near the river and waterfalls.
DAY 4:
Trekking from Fench Abera, until, Wassama, at 3900m of altitude [24km).
DAY 5:
Trekking from Wassama until Gebre Guracha (26km, 9 hours of trekking).
DAY 6:
Camp at the foot of Mount Batu (4317m).
DAY 7:
Trekking from Gebre Guracha until Konten, where we find our vehicles to the rest of our trekking to Wondogenet.
DAY 8:
Transfer by car to Wondogenet area, a popular vacation spot, set in a tranquil valley (walks by tropical forest and bathing in thermal pools.) Night in hotel.
DAY 9:
Visit the Lake Shalla Abyata and Langano, Rift Valley. Night in Langano.
DAY 10:
Drive back to Addis Ababa and in the afternoon visit MERKATO, the biggest open air market in Africa.

These routes to the east and southeast allow us to contact the culture of different Tribes and Ethnic Groups in Eastern Ethiopia and admire the natural beauty of the Rift Valley with its beautiful lakes. Ziway Lake, Lake Abiyata, Lake Shala, Lake Langano, Lake Awassa, Lake Chamo and Lake Abaya, on whose shores is Nech Sar National Park.
During the tour, visit important historical cities such as Harar, the fourth Muslim sacred city (together with Mecca, Medina and Jerusalem) and known for its walls, which were built in the fifteenth century by Harari (Adare Tribe) to be protected from the repeated invasions of other tribes around.
We will go in the Danakil desert, the warmest part of the world, land of black mountains and salt formations, such as the Dallol, we move accompanied by the slow rhythm of the camel caravans loaded with salt. We may also know, churches, carved into the rock of Tigray.
