THE WEATHER
In northern Ethiopia the rainy season is from June to late August. In the south the rainy season is April and May. Due to climate change, the data provided may vary depending on the year.

DANAKIL, AWASH, HARAR (16 DAYS 15 NIGHTS)
DAY 1:
On arrival in Addis Ababa, we will have a city tour. Night in hotel.
DAY 2:
Transfer by vehicle to the Awash National Park. Night in camp.
DAY 3:
Full day in the park. Visit "Palm Spring '(hot springs) and climb to the top of the volcano Fantale (inactive since 1820). Overnight camp.
DAY 4:
Transfer to Asaita and will visit the tribe of Afar. Night at local hotel.
DAY 5:
Transfer to Lake Abe. Night in at local hotel in Asaita.
DAY 6:
We will continue our tour and visit Asaita - Serdar - Lake Afdiera and its environs, where is the archaeological activity takes places. Night in camp.
DAY 7:
Trekking around the lake. Night in camp.
DAY 8:
Moving from Lake Afdiera, to Serdo and Asaita.
DAY 9:
Transfer Asaita - Awash. Night in local hotel.
DAY 10:
Continue to explore the Awash Park, its hot springs, waterfalls and watching wildlife. Night in local hotel.

Drive to Harar. Night in hotel.
DAY 12:
Drive to Babile and visit the wild life sanctuary and drive back to Harar for overnight stay. Night in hotel at Harar.

These routes to the east and southeast allow us to contact the culture of different Tribes and Ethnic Groups in Eastern Ethiopia and admire the natural beauty of the Rift Valley with its beautiful lakes. Ziway Lake, Lake Abiyata, Lake Shala, Lake Langano, Lake Awassa, Lake Chamo and Lake Abaya, on whose shores is Nech Sar National Park.
During the tour, visit important historical cities such as Harar, the fourth Muslim sacred city (together with Mecca, Medina and Jerusalem) and known for its walls, which were built in the fifteenth century by Harari (Adare Tribe) to be protected from the repeated invasions of other tribes around.
We will go in the Danakil desert, the warmest part of the world, land of black mountains and salt formations, such as the Dallol, we move accompanied by the slow rhythm of the camel caravans loaded with salt. We may also know, churches, carved into the rock of Tigray.
