KARO.TRIBE.
Living in the area east of Omo River. They had many cattle, but lost much of it due to illness, and then returned to agriculture. Very close to the Hamer, share with them the language as well to cattle and food. The voracity of termites abundant in the region, forcing them to rebuild their homes several times a year. They decorate their bodies with chalk, often imitating the spotted peacocks, and made masks for the face with chalk, iron and various minerals.
HAMER TRIBE.
The Hamer is a farming and herding tribe that occupies the lands west of Mago National Park near the Kenyan border. Subsist mainly of sorghum, millet, vegetables and some snuff and cotton, as well as sheep and goats. They usually paint his body with many colors, and wear lots of beads. His most significant ceremony is the "jumping of the bulls".
ARI TRIBE
They live in the northern border of Mago Park. They have cattle, horses, donkeys, mules, sheep, goats and chickens. In the highlands grow wheat, teff, barley, peas, beans, bananas and coffee. They are also a large producer of honey.
MURSI TRIBE
They are shepherds who live in rainy season between the steppe Tama and Mursi Hills, and in dry season, northeast of the Omo Park. Have some crops in the vicinity of the Omo River. They also collect honey. As a teenager, unmarried women pierce their lower lip and the hole will expand during the period of one year approximately. TRIBE SURMAN

BANNA TRIBE.

They live along the shores of Lake Turkana in both Ethiopian and Kenyan part. Combine animal husbandry and agriculture. The land, semiarid, is worked by women, cultivating sorghum, wheat, coffee. TRIBE Dorze.
Cover an area of 30 km2 around Chencha. Its main activity is the shama, colored tunics with geometric designs, which are sold throughout the country. The houses made of bamboo, are a feature which distinguishes them from neighboring towns.
