THE WEATHER

In northern Ethiopia the rainy season is from June to late August. In the south the rainy season is April and May. Due to climate change, the data provided may vary depending on the year.

DAY 1:

Arrival in Addis Ababa. Afternoon city tour including the National Museum and Entoto Mountain, from where it provides a lovely view of the city, and the Church of St. Mary. Night at the hotel chosen.

DAY 2:

The travel start in the morning visit crater Lakes of Debra Zeith and the lakes of Rift Valley Like Abyata Shala and Langano, lakes rich in bird species, such as Pelican, Flamingo, Stork, etc. Overnight at hotel in Langeno.

DAY 3:

This day we will be driving through the road of south direction towards Arbaminch admiring the beautiful land scape of Wolayta people its culture. Overnight at hotel in Arbaminch.

DAY 4:

In the morning, visit Nech Sar National Park with its spectacular views of Lakes and various mammals such as endemic Swaynes Hartebeest, Zebras, the Lesser Kudu and others many more. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 5:

Transfer to Turmi through the peoples of Derashe (with a particular culture, traditions and system of life). They are also known for its terrace farming. We continue across the peoples, and people Tsemay and Erbore. They colorful hairstyles and have a style of dress and live very peculiar. Continue towards the village of Turm through the people Hamer and the market of Dimeka. Dinner and night at camp Turmi, or Buska lodge.

DAY 6:

This day we will devote ourselves to visit the people of Hamer, their huts and we may also experience the presentation of their unique ceremony of wedding and the bustling market of the people of Hamer, Karo and Dassenech at the towns of Turmi and Dimeka. Overnight in Turmi.

DAY 7:

Drive to Omorate, on the banks of the Omo River to admire the villages of the Dassanech. Return for dinner and night in Turmi.

DAY 8:

Transfer to visit the people and villages of Karo. Visit Korcho with beautiful views of Omo River. Night at Murulle.

DAY 9:

We will continue our journey to Mago National Park and will be camping on banks of Rio Omo. Night in camp.

DAY 10:

Continue to the villages of Mursi to admire their culture whose women have the habit of getting plate of clay in the interior of their mouth and their men have different scarification and other features. Continues to the village of Jinka for dinner and night at a local hotel.

DAY 11:

We will continue to Konso, looking, people of Ari, Benna and Tsemay. If it matches the market days, you may visit any of these lovely and colorful markets on the road. Visit to their respective villages and know the traditions of the Konso. Night in Konso Edget or hotel St. Mary.

DAY 12:

We continued our journey, to the Borana people and in the afternoon transfer to Elsod Crater, where the Borana men extract salt. Visit some of their villages. Night at local hotel in Yabello, or camp.

DAY 13:

Transfer to Awassa, the main administrative head of Southern peoples of Ethiopia, crossing the peoples of Guji and admiring the beautiful scenery and visit birds abounding the Lake Hawassa, with its beautiful situation adjacent to the city. Night at hotel.

DAY 14:

This day, we will visit the fish market of lake Hawassa and on return back in Addis Ababa, we may visit 'Merkato' the largest open air market in Africa (except Sunday) walking through different gift shops. Overnight at chosen hotel.

DAY 15:

Transfer to airport for departure.
