THE WEATHER

In northern Ethiopia the rainy season is from June to late August. In the south the rainy season is April and May. Due to climate change, the data provided may vary depending on the year.

DAY 2:

We will drive towards Jimma. Night in Honeyland Hotel.

DAY 3:

Visit Bebeka. Night in camping.

DAY 4:

Time to visit the Dizi tribes. Night in camp.

DAY 5:

We will be assessed Tulgit to visit Surma Tribes. Night in camp.

DAY 6:

Continue to Kibish to visit the Surma tribes, their villages, ceremonies, ways of life and social structure. Opportunity to witness the struggle of the Donga stick Fight. Night in camp.

DAY 7:

Back to Tulgit. Night in camp.

DAY 8:

Continue to Tum. Night in camp.

We will continue to reach Tepi. Night in camp.

We will turn east towards Arbaminch through Wolayta people. Night in Paradize lodge in Arbaminch.

DAY 12:

This day in the morning we will visit tribes and villages of Dorze, in the afternoon the lake Chamo. Night at the Lodge in Arbaminch.

DAY 13:

In the morning visit to Nechsar National Park. In the afternoon visit the Konso tribes and night at Kanta Lodge in Konso.

DAY 14:

Visit the tribes of Tsemay and Hammer. Night in Turmi in Buska Lodge.

DAY 15:

Visit to the tribes and villages of Hammer, with the possibility of witnessing a market, and any ceremony, as the bull jumping (initiation ceremony). Night in, Turmi.

DAY 16:

Continue until Omorate to visit the People of Dassenech, on the banks of the River Omo. Back at Turmi for the night.

DAY 17:

Visit at the Tribes of Karo, to admire the traditions of Duss and villages of Korcho, and panoramic views of the River Omo. Night in, Turmi.

DAY 18:

Visit the people of Erbore. Night in, Konso.

DAY 19:

Continue to Yabelo to visit the Borana people, and the crater "Elsod" and visit the salt extraction of the Borana (Oromo people), also able to visit the wells of Dublock. Night in Yabelo motel.

DAY 20:

Transfer to the Rift Valley until lake Langeno,. Night in hotel.

DAY 21:

Visit some of the lakes of Rift Valley. Return at Addis Ababa. Night in hotel.
